Job Title: SAP Basis Developer
Location: Pune
Grade: BA4

Leading the SAP BASIS Build in Pune to provide critical support, maintenance and administrative activities across the SAP landscape (SAP ECC 6.0, SAP BW 7.0, SAP Enterprise Portal 7.0, SAP SRM 7.0, SAP XI 7.0). The team also focuses on continued SAP performance and landscape optimization. Project deliverables are also carried out so the role is to manage and lead the BASIS BUILD team in a combination of deliverables across the project.

Additional responsibilities include forecasting, budget planning, ensuring adherence to relevant audit controls (SOX etc), facing off to senior stakeholder, technical release management and ensuring change activities such as release of transports into production conform to the firm’s change management policies and procedures.

Provide leadership and direction to the Global Barclays SAP BASIS team – Driving the team to a high performing status through continuous improvement.

Your Role

  • Providing Leadership SAP Basis Team in Pune –build
  • Responsible for overseeing deliverables assigned
  • Responsible for maintaining the health of the production systems
  • Driving continuous improvement within the Barclays SAP environment
  • Planning– Ensuring the team can meet demand and hit budgeting targets
  • Lead the team delivering - IT Operations Management

§  Handing user requests

Essential Skills

  • Maintenance and administrative activities across the SAP landscape (SAP ECC 6.0, SAP BW 7.0, SAP Enterprise Portal 7.0, SAP SRM 7.0, SAP XI 7.0).

  • Strong analytical and logical skills – the ability to resolve issues in a high-pressure environment.
  • In depth Knowledge of software development ‘best practices’ and software development life cycle.
  • Able to work well with IT teams and stakeholder in multiple locations.

India offers most crypto jobs in APAC NEW DELHI Indian recruiters post the highest number of job openings for  blockchain  and crypto in the APAC region. The demand for experts is from the software, entertainment and government sectors, while fintech — unexpectedly — isn’t looking for as many blockchain experts. Almost 1 in 10 blockchain jobs posted in 2017 on professional network platform  LinkedIn  were from India. The share of India in global blockchain/  crypto jobs  increased from less than 1% in 2015 to about 7% in 2016 and over 8% in 2017, according to the company. China and Singapore remained behind at 1.5% each, while Australia had 1%. Globally, US had the most demand for blockchain and crypto related jobs. Other recruiters have noticed the trend too.
