Job Description for Business Process Senior Consultant – Outbound Logistics with Localization Experience
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
  • Possess in depth knowledge in SAP Outbound Logistics, including Sales and Distribution, Warehouse Management, Transportation Management and having India Localization expertise
  • Ability to lead teams and independently handle large projects as a Team lead in the functional areas mentioned above.
  • Hands on experience in designing and implementing SD, WM and TM Processes in large organizations, in the role of a functional consultant and a team lead.
  • Should have Implementation experience in India Localization (Country India version) with sound knowledge in TAXINN, Tax procedure migration and a good understanding of GST.
  • Should possess a sound knowledge on Integration of SD, WM and TM with FI-CO, MM and related areas.
  • Should possess knowledge on data migration using tools like LSMW and should have handled data migration in large projects independently
  • Knowledge on S4 Hana preferred
  • Should possess complete knowledge on every phase of SAP implementation including creation of business blueprint, Implementation based on a blue print, creation of test cases, test scheduling and execution, key user training, roles and authorization, data migration, go live support and post go live support
  • He should be well versed with project implementation methodologies, A2O, RDS and solution manager
  • Business process consulting knowledge
  • Should able to support Sales & Pre Sales - creation and execution of presentations and demos
  • Should able to Collaborate with the various internal teams of SAP, including development and support
  • Should contribute in practice building measures like Knowledge Management, Lead generation and mentoring.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS/ SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
  • Strong analytical skills, result-oriented and effectiveness in problem solving.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Team player and ability to work successfully in culturally diverse environments.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English..
  • ASAP methodology and Solution Manager experience a requirement.
  • Application & industry know-how and practical experience
  • Excellent communication skills in English. Additional communication skills are a benefit
  • Know-how of project and consulting business practices
  • Capacity for teamwork, analysis and conceptual thinking
  • Graduate / Post-Graduate degree in Management, IT or Engineering,
  • Certification in SD and WM area
 WORK EXPERIENCE
  • Minimum 5 End-to-End implementations
  • Total experience of 12+ years in consulting.
  • Minimum 8 years of SAP implementation experience.
  • Extensive experience 5+ years of business processes experience
  • Familiarity with SAP implementation tools such as Solution Manager and Roadmap Composer
  • Experience influencing key stakeholders
